Paradise Music Festival wouldn’t be possible without our incredible team of volunteers! Each year, we welcome 50-60 volunteers who help bring the festival to life. There are also opportunities to get involved year-round through events and community initiatives.

The 2025 festival runs from Friday, August 8th, to the morning of Sunday, August 10th, and we’re looking for dedicated volunteers to join us. Stay tuned for our official call for volunteers!

What you need to know

New for 2025: Volunteer Ticket Deposit

• All volunteers are required to purchase a Weekend Festival Pass at whatever price is available at the time of purchase. The full cost will be reimbursed after the festival once you complete your eight hours of volunteering (two 4-hour shifts)

• If purchasing a ticket is a barrier to volunteering, please reach out to volunteers@paradisemusicfestival.ca for assistance.

Time Commitment

• All volunteers must complete two (2) four-hour shifts, for a total of 8 hours of volunteering.

Shift Assignments

• Shift assignments are based on:

  • Timing of application

  • Experience with requested roles

  • Timing preferences of all volunteers

• We do our best to match everyone with their preferred roles and time slots, while ensuring the festival runs smoothly.

Mandatory Orientation

• All volunteers are required to attend the mandatory orientation and BBQ. This will be held on the evening of Wednesday, August 6th or alternatively, Monday, August 4th. The exact date and time will be confirmed by the Volunteer Coordination Team. It is extremely important you attend the orientation and BBQ, as it’s when you’ll meet your team, receive your shift schedule, and review key festival policies and safety information.

Transportation

• There is no festival shuttle. Paradise is 38 km south of Whitehorse on the Alaska Highway, and volunteers must arrange their own transportation.

Volunteer roles & teams

• Gate & Parking – Greet guests, scan tickets, and help direct vehicles to keep the lot organized.

• Harm Reduction – Provide non-judgmental support, educate attendees about consent, offer harm reduction resources, and help keep Paradise safe and welcoming.

• Environmental Crew – Keep the festival grounds clean, green, and beautiful all weekend long.

• Concession – Serve food and drinks with a side of good vibes.

• Set-Up / Tear-Down – Help build the festival before the magic begins or pack up after it ends. Leave no trace!
